Meet The Founder

Saudat Adinani

With over 15 years of experience working with underrepresented communities and more than 4 years in the built environment sector, Saudat has played a key role in transformative projects that bridge the gap between developers and local residents. Drawing on her background in community engagement for large-scale regeneration projects, she brings deep expertise in navigating complex stakeholder relationships and amplifying the voices of local communities.

The Journey So Far

I’ve truly had quite the adventure getting to where I am today, I think I’ve done almost every job under the sun! It all started at 16, working in retail, followed by stints in call centres, warehouses, cleaning, volunteering, and even teaching. I’ve been a busy bee, but the common thread that’s always kept me grounded is my passion for community work.

My real introduction to community engagement came through Football Unites Racism Divides, an anti-racism football charity doing incredible work around social inclusion and youth empowerment. It was there that I developed my skills in project management, building strong relationships with local people, bid writing, and organising community events. These experiences opened the door to a Community Liaison role with a housing company working alongside a local authority, and I was ready for a new adventure in the big city.

Finding My Calling

I dove headfirst into that role, immersing myself in the world of resident ballots, regeneration projects, landlord offers, cabinet paper deadlines, viability reports, and planning regulations. To my delight, I loved every minute of it. I had found my calling. What I enjoyed most was translating the jargon-heavy world of construction into something residents could actually understand. Helping communities feel informed, empowered, and confident to have their say quickly became my mission.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with companies that genuinely want to go beyond the tick-box approach to community engagement. These are the organisations I’m passionate about supporting, those committed to delivering on their social value KPIs, sourcing locally, creating jobs for residents, and setting up meaningful spaces while waiting for construction to begin. They’re not just paying lip service; they’re investing back into the communities they serve.

The Heart of Crowd Magnet

At Crowd Magnet, we partner with companies that share this vision, those who see community engagement as more than a requirement, but as a responsibility. We help them make authentic, lasting connections with local communities, ensuring every project leaves a positive legacy. This is the heart of what we do: creating real, valuable relationships that bring social value to life.
