Community Storytellers Programme

Community Storytellers Programme

Client:

Camden Council, make:good, Ballymore Lateral

About This Project:

Creating space for youth voice and creativity in the heart of regeneration.

As part of the major regeneration of Camley Street in Camden, Crowd Magnet was commissioned to design and lead a youth engagement programme that would connect young people to the changes happening in their area — and give them a platform to share their voice.

Through the Camley Street Community Storytellers Programme, we worked with a group of local young people over 10 weeks to explore themes of place, identity, and change. The programme was delivered through creative workshops that covered storytelling, photography, audio interviews and short-form video content.

Our young participants created a rich portfolio of work that captured both their personal perspectives and the voices of local residents and workers. The project culminated in a showcase celebration, where their work was shared with the wider community, regeneration partners, and design teams.
